Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star

Adam loves to sing. Today while he was licking the sugar cookie dough off the beaters he was singing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. He sings all day long. He's either singing that or the ABC's or Give Said the Little Stream. (singing, singing all the day is his favorite part!)
He's so sweet when he sings. Not all the words are there, but the melody usually is.

The Haircut by Cassidee

If you take a peek at Cassidee's blog you will see the awesome haircut she gave herself. She didn't stop at her own head however, she also butched Adam.
He was on the move for most or all of his haircut. Little tuffs of hair were found all around the family room, dining room, hallway, and my bedroom.

Cassee gave him about 6-8 bald spots, so it's really amazing she didn't injure him in any way.
I guess he needed a haircut anyway.

He looked so cute sitting in a barber chair, but of course I forgot my camera when we went there.
The camera doesn't show it too much but you can see some bald spots.

And of course I can hardly ever get him to look at me when I try to take his picture!

I do have to say that he looks a lot better with his haircut than his sister does with hers!!

Adam at the Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we went on a little outing with the Moms of Bloomfield Club.
We went to the Sutherland Farms, about 20 miles away.

Here's Adam checking out the goats at the petting zoo. They also had miniature donkeys, ducks and chickens too.

Here's Adam digging in the corn pit.

Over two years of age paid $4.00 to get in and all the activities were then free. As an activity everyone got to pick a little pumpkin.
Adam actually was free, but he got a little pumpkin anyway. He's checking out the options here.

By the end I was tired of chasing Adam, so his picture with the purple cow has him in the stroller instead of milking the cow. Sorry Adam, you were a handful!

The Duck Thrower

We have many bathtub duckies. Last night during Adam's bath, he spent the whole time throwing them one by one across the tub. They would float back and he'd throw them again. We finally had to make him stop when Mommy was wetter than he was. Such fun.
Of course it wasn't "such fun" when Mommy had to fish them out of the toilet this morning! (Sorry, no picture of them in the toilet, Emmee was waiting to go!) Adam is notorious for throwing things into the toilet. The number one rule in the house is: Don't Leave the Bathroom Door Open!!!
It's almost as if he smells an open door. It's the funnest room in the house for him. He sneaks in and immediately throws something within reach into the toilet. Tub toys being his favorite! (Most likely because they are always in the bathroom and within his reach.) At least they are also easy to clean. Toothbrushes...not so easy to clean.

The Climber

It's always tricky to take a shower after Adam wakes up. I never quite know what he'll get into.
This morning he came into the bathroom while I showered. At one point I peeked out the door and saw that he was standing on the toilet. I tried to hurry to be done. When I opened the door to get my towel this is what I saw.
I had to find my bent mangled glasses (of course he found them and played with them too) before I could run out to find the camera.
What a little squirt!
Surprisingly however, he didn't make a huge mess!

The Vent

Kids love openings and little places where they can stick stuff, right? Adam is no different. The vents in our house are just the right size for his little fingers to shove things through.

This vent is located in the large open doorway that separates the living room from the family room in our new house. It happens to be his favorite!
Today I saw a dominoes tile suck in it. So I opened it up to see what else I could find.
This is actually nothing compared to other times. This is not the first time I've had to open it. I've gotten out banana gram tiles, cereal, fruit snacks, crackers, other little toys, paper, crayons, markers, etc. You name it, and Adam can probably shove it in there.
This happens to be the only vent in our house that I can easily open with just my hands. I'm glad he chose this one instead of the others. Oh, the treasures we can find if only we will look!

Princess Adam

Adam found Cassee's crown and thought it looked fun to wear. He put it on and wouldn't take it off. He thought he was pretty awesome wearing it.

Of course, Cassee was very upset and wanted it back, which she didn't get until "The Princess" was done with it.
What little girl would think she'd have to share her princess stuff with her little BROTHER!
