Adam the Destroyer

I feel like I watch my son all the time, yet apparently it's not ALL THE TIME. I'm getting some what used to the usual Adam destruction: writing with marker, crayon or pen on anything and everything, splashing water anywhere and everywhere (if he finds any - he's very good at climbing into the bathroom sinks), and pouring his juice onto the kitchen floor.
Yesterday he put me over the top. While I was assembling a messy concoction into a pan for dinner and Dan was on the phone, Adam managed to get a full bottle of Dawn dish soap and squeeze about half of it on the dining room floor (look carefully and yes, it's carpet) and all over one of the dining chair cushions (they aren't even 6 months old yet).
Any suggestions about how to get that much soap out of material???


Also, any suggestions about how to get cheap chapstick out of a couch cushion?? Yes, another of Adam's fun activities when Mommy wasn't watching.
